Bookseller
This is a part-time post of 2 days a week on Fridays and Saturdays (16 hours per week), working in the bookshop and occasional extra days in the shop or assisting on book buying collections across London

Essential requirements:
- Numerate: must be confident in mental maths and cash handling
- Good communicator
- A demonstrable interest in books.
- Good physical and mental stamina
- Able to remain calm in busy situations
- Self motivated and able to follow procedures.
- Strong attention to detail
- Prior experience in a bookshop or related setting.

As one of the few general and rare bookshops in central London, this is a unique opportunity.
We are looking for someone who is motivated, numerate, able to follow procedures, with good attention to detail, and physically fit in terms of carrying boxes of books. You will be joining a small friendly, stable and supportive team.
This is a part time role of 2 days (16 hours) per week, and with scope for additional hours beyond this.
Fridays and Saturdays are the regular days we are looking to fill, 10.30am to 7.30pm. You must be available to work on these days.

- There will be initial short zoom interviews on Monday 3rd and Tuesday 4th February, followed by in person interviews at the bookshop the following week.
- We are seeking to appoint somebody to ideally start in February, but a later start can be agreed.
